In the United States, there are more people who are now turning to holistic and alternative health therapies.  There is a real revival in the belief that physical, mental and spiritual health are all a part of being and staying healthy and whole. The graphic below, created by visual.ly shows that there are currently some very interesting trends taking place.
  • In the last year, 40% of U.S. adults have used a holistic therapies
  • Women choose holistic and alternative therapies 10% more than men
  • In the U.S, people in the west choose holistic therapies the most
  • Natural products and supplements are used more than any other natural therapy
  • Among adults, fish oil is the most common supplement used
